‘How to Produce, Perform and Write an Edinburgh Fringe Comedy Show’ is guide book aimed at performers doing their first shows at the Fringe which can help save them money and heartache.

Originally based on the articles on the author’s blog site, the articles are rewritten and expanded to include all aspects of fringe production, plus it’s full of war stories about how he came about doing things, and everything learnt in nine years of producing shows.

Miniaturists 34, at the Arcola

Small but perfectly formed plays since 2005

The Miniaturists is the regular writer-led event dedicated to bringing short but perfectly formed plays to public view. Every show is packed with small original pieces of theatre from an array of talented writers, new and established. Each piece is no longer than twenty minutes and the rich mix makes every event as various and unpredictable as life itself.

The Miniaturists was founded in 2005 by playwright Stephen Sharkey and is curated by him with help from Declan Feenan and Flavia Fraser-Cannon. The Miniaturists have produced work at Southwark Playhouse, Everyman Liverpool and Cornerstone and Latitude Festivals. Previous writers include Moira Buffini, David Eldridge, Kenneth Emson, Duncan Macmillan, Glyn Cannon and Dan Rebellato.
