The Print Room – Notting Hill’s new venueTuesday, 1 February, 2011
The Print Room is a new non-for-profit arts venue and performance space, specializing in experimental theatre, music, dance and visual art.
The space is a newly renovated 1950’s warehouse, under the Artistic Directorship of Anda Winters and Lucy Bailey. The venue aims to be a hidden artistic gem in the heart of Notting Hill, and intends to produce work of exceptional quality and collaborate with the most exciting creative talent.
Coming to the theatre from 9 Feb to 5 March 2011 is Alan Ayckbourn’s rarely performed ghost story, Snake in the Grass, directed by Lucy Bailey, designed by William Dudley with lighting Design by Richard Howell and Sound Design by Neil Alexander
It is set on the disused tennis court of a large country house, and functions as a black comedy and at the same time a sinister, psychological thriller.
Following the death of their tyrannical father, Annabel returns to the family home after twenty years abroad, to be re-united with her sister Miriam. As they get to know each other again, they find themselves haunted by the terrifying ghosts of their past.
The Print Room is at 34 Hereford Road, W2. For details and tickets, follow this link: www.the-print-room.org
