Jessica Fostekew – Luxury Tramp

Jessica Fostekew draws a parallel between chameleons changing colour to match their surroundings and humans changing their accents according to the people they’re talking to.

She says she’s 27 and describes her style as ‘office homeless’. She comes across as amiable, wears a baggy top and jeans, has curly hair to her shoulders, and punctuates the narrative – the act mainly takes the form of stories – with a sound that’s part-gurgling laugh, part throat-clearing snigger. It’s a happy drain-like sound which gives gives pace to the narrative, and draws a line under each anecdote… Full review at
