Through the Ideas Tap partnership with Old Vic New Voices, emerging theatre practitioners can claim a unique opportunity to get involved with the 2012 TS Eliot US/ UK Exchange.

In the third year of this transatlantic theatre project, five new plays by American playwrights will be showcased for the first time in London this summer. The Old Vic New Voices team are looking for UK-based actors, directors and producers to help make the project happen.

Producers/ Directors
Each of the winning plays requires a director and producer to help bring it to life. So if the script extracts take your fancy and you’d like to create some ambitious new work with Old Vic New Voices, apply by 5pm on Friday 20 April.

Actors
Performing in a play as part of the TS Eliot Exchange offers a great platform for actors to get seen by industry professionals and to develop creative contacts. Read about the character roles on offer and apply by 5pm on Thursday 26 April.

Theatre job: Blind Summit needs general manager

6-month full-time contract
£24-£28,000 dependent on experience

Blind Summit Theatre seeks a General Manager to take over the day to day running of the company and to oversee and implement the creative development, planning, and delivery of all Blind Summit Theatre projects in close consultation with the Artistic Directors.

The successful candidate will have a minimum 5 years experience and will possess strong skills in 1) marketing and media strategy, 2) initiating and negotiating contracts, 3) arranging and booking tours, 4) casting and rehearsal procedures, 5) budget management and oversight, 6) securing funds, and 7) overseeing office administration and staffing.
