Halifax Festival 9 – 17 July – some events starting 11 June 2011

The Last Days of Don Juan features at Halifax

Halifax Festival includes music, art, performance, dance, talks and festival trails. Events start in June and runs through to the autumn, though its main activity is from 9 – 17 July. In keeping with the spirit of the Festival, many events are free.

Interesting items include a theatrical deconstruction of Alfred Hitchcock’s ‘The Birds’, inspired by Winnie The Pooh, Tom Lehrer and Jack Duckworth’s Racing Pigeons, at the Empty Space Theatre on July 11, and The Last Days of Don Juan, at the Workshop, July 12 – 16.
